A special and elegant Blaufränkisch from the “Gfangeräcker” vineyard, a vineyard that produces multi-layered wines full of subtlety and in a class of their own. A wine that goes perfectly with robust flavors such as barbecue, game, steak, lamb and beef.
Quintus Blaufränkisch 2019 Mittelburgenland DAC Res. AT-BIO-401
Sparkling dark ruby garnet with dark core. Pronounced nose of dark berry fruit as well as ripe heart cherries, blackberries and thyme. Well integrated wood – fine nougat. Dry on the palate with balanced acidity. Powerful, tight texture. Extra sweet blackberry fruit and cinnamon tank notes. Full-bodied and very well structured. Deep and mineral. Elegant tannins are perfectly integrated. The finish is long and balanced, accompanied by dark fruit and fine toasted tank notes. The fruit lingers extremely long. Pure Blaufränkisch with great future potential.
