Radiant, yet very dark ruby - garnet appearance.

The violet color at the rim with the purple reflections indicating the youth of the Blaufränkisch. Long lasting legs in the glass showing the high extract content.

Clean in the nose, with aromas of dried fruit, ripe plums and black cherries. Dark berries with hints of rosemary and thyme.

Well integrated wood, mocha, black tea and tobacco notes. Dry on the palate with mild acidity. Robust body accompanied with present but soft tannins. Fuit of dark berries, prunes, black tea and cinnamon nuances. Full bodied and well structured with an inkling of extract sweetness. A balanced and long finish accompanied with the impression of delicate fruit and spices. The premium quality with the potential to lay away for many years, yet ready now.
