Mittelburgenland DAC Reserve Blaufränkisch Dürrau

Radiant, very dark rubygarnet with violett reflexes and a dark core. The violet color at the rim with the purple reflections are indicating the youth of the Blaufränkisch. Long lasting legs in the glass showing the high extract content.

Attractively spicy nose. Intensive aromas of plums and black cherries. Dark berries with hints of cinnamon and Thymian. Nuances of black tea and tobacco.

Dry on the palate with mild acidity. Full bodied with ripe soft tannins. Spicy fruit of plums and black cherries with nuances of cinnamon. Mineral notes and a velvety texture. Well structured with an inkling of extract sweetnes. Very balanced and concentrated flavours. Aromatic complexity with a long rich finish.

The premium quality with the potential to lay away for many years, yet ready now.
